Delivery Driver Arrested in Alleged Package Theft from Bedminster Home

BEDMINSTER, PA — The Bedminster Township Police Department has arrested a 22-year-old Philadelphia man in connection with the alleged theft of a package from a local residence earlier this year.

Authorities announced that Alexander Urena Gonzalez was taken into custody on Friday, October 10, 2025, following an investigation into a reported theft that occurred on June 9, 2025. The arrest stems from a warrant issued by Magisterial District Judge Gambardella on July 9, 2025.

According to police, the incident began when officers responded to a report of a stolen package from a home in Bedminster Township. The homeowner told investigators that a package had been delivered by a third-party service, but was allegedly taken shortly afterward by the same individual who delivered it.

Following an investigation, police identified Gonzalez as the delivery driver and the individual suspected of stealing the package. He was subsequently charged with theft of mail, theft by unlawful taking, and receiving stolen property.

All individuals charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
