PHILADELPHIA, PA — Philadelphia Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a vehicle and its occupants believed to be connected to a deadly shooting in the Germantown section of the city earlier this month.
The incident occurred around 5:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 3, 2025, along the 200 block of East Rittenhouse Street. According to investigators with the Homicide Unit, a white Toyota Sienna minivan—model year estimated between 2007 and 2010—was captured on surveillance footage in the area at the time of the shooting. Authorities believe the van contained at least three individuals linked to the incident.
The minivan is described as having a sunroof, a luggage rack, rear tinted windows, and visible damage on the rear driver-side quarter panel and bumper. The vehicle was last observed near Osceola and Price Streets.
Police have not yet released information regarding the victim or the motive, but emphasize the importance of the public’s assistance in identifying the vehicle and those involved. Surveillance footage excerpts have been collected as part of the investigation.
The City of Philadelphia is offering a $20,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for this homicide.
Anyone who may have information about the vehicle or the suspects is urged not to approach but instead contact 911 immediately. Tips can also be submitted anonymously by calling 215-686-TIPS (8477).
All individuals sought in this investigation are considered suspects and are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
