COATESVILLE, PA — Authorities in Coatesville are investigating the discovery of a credit card skimming device at a local grocery store earlier this month. The device, reportedly intended to unlawfully collect customers’ financial information, was found at the CTOWN Grocery Store located at 245 E. Lincoln Highway.
According to the Coatesville Police Department, the skimming device is believed to have been active from June 5, 2025, at approximately 12:48 p.m., until it was discovered and removed on June 6, 2025, at 4:37 p.m. Investigators have identified two individuals believed to be connected to the incident, but have not yet determined their identities. Both suspects remain unidentified as of this time, and the investigation is ongoing.
Detective Sergeant Brandon Harris of the Coatesville Police Department is leading the investigation. Law enforcement officials are urging community members who may have information about the suspects or the incident to come forward.
