Among the most serious matters were two alleged driving under the influence arrests. On December 28, troopers conducted a traffic stop in East Nottingham Township and arrested a 44-year-old man from Oxford after allegedly determining he was operating a vehicle while impaired by alcohol. The man’s 2023 white Mitsubishi Outlander was towed from the scene, and the investigation remains ongoing.

A similar arrest occurred on December 27 in Upper Oxford Township, where troopers stopped a 2014 Ram 1500 on U.S. 1. Police allege the 44-year-old male driver from Toughkenamon was under the influence of alcohol and took him into custody before transporting him to PSP Avondale.

These incidents occurred along major corridors including Baltimore Pike, Westtown Road, Parkersville Road, North Guernsey Road, and West London Grove Road. Several vehicles were towed, citations were issued in some cases for alleged traffic violations, and authorities reported no serious injuries.

Beyond traffic incidents, troopers were dispatched on December 25 to Franklin Township to investigate a report of a missing adult. Police said a 65-year-old man from Landenberg was reported missing but was later located in Cecil County, Maryland, and confirmed to be in good health.
