HUNTINGDON VALLEY, PA — A late-November crash at a busy Lower Moreland Township intersection left one driver critically injured and resulted in serious criminal charges against another motorist, police said.
According to the Lower Moreland Township Police Department, officers were dispatched on Sunday, November 30, 2025, to the intersection of Philmont Avenue and Pine Road for a reported two-vehicle collision. When police arrived, they found a Chevrolet Malibu and a Ford F350 truck that had been involved in the crash.
Police allege that the operator of the Malibu complained of head, neck, and back pain at the scene and was transported by ambulance to a hospital. Due to complications from the crash, the driver was admitted as a Level 1 trauma patient and later listed in critical condition, authorities said.
Investigators allege the driver of the Ford F350, identified as 64-year-old Fred Breslow, was operating the vehicle while under the influence at the time of the crash. Breslow was taken into custody on January 15, 2026, following the completion of the police investigation.
As a result of the incident, Breslow was charged with aggravated assault by vehicle while driving under the influence, recklessly endangering another person, DUI—controlled substance impaired ability, improper left turn, careless driving resulting in serious bodily injury, and careless driving.
The circumstances surrounding the collision remain under investigation, and police have not released additional details regarding the sequence of events leading up to the crash.
All charges are allegations. Breslow, like all defendants, is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
