Cold Case Burglary Raises Questions in Ambler Neighborhood

AMBLER, PA — Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect in a residential burglary that occurred in June 2025, according to Ambler Borough police.

The incident occurred June 6, 2025, at approximately 10:50 p.m. in the 200 block of Belmont Avenue, police reported.

According to investigators, an unknown suspect allegedly entered the residence after watching the home and determining the homeowners were not present. Police said the suspect disabled the home’s security cameras, though the system captured an image of the individual before being tampered with.

Investigators reported that the suspect removed several items from the residence before leaving the scene.

The case remains open and is classified as a cold case, police said.

Authorities are asking anyone with information about the incident or the identity of the suspect to contact Det. Tyler Conroy at 215-646-1000 ext. 104 and reference case number 2025-03972.

All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
