Clerk Confronted in Bold Robbery at Christiana Mall Levi’s

NEWARK, DEDelaware State Police are investigating an alleged robbery at the Levi’s store inside Christiana Mall after a clerk was shoved and cash taken during an evening incident on December 1.

Troopers responded at approximately 7:30 p.m. to the store at 132 Christiana Mall Road after receiving a report of a robbery in progress. According to preliminary findings, an unknown Black male entered the store as an employee was counting money, shoved the clerk, and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash from the register. No injuries were reported.

The Delaware State Police Troop 2 Robbery Unit is continuing its investigation. Detectives are asking anyone with information to contact Detective D. Patterson at (302) 365-8404, send a private Facebook message to the Delaware State Police, or reach Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-847-3333.

All individuals suspected of a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
