NEWARK, DE — Delaware State Police have arrested a Newark man in connection with a Monday evening robbery at the Levi’s store inside Christiana Mall, according to information released by the department.
Police say the incident occurred on December 1 at approximately 7:30 p.m., when an unidentified man entered the store at 132 Christiana Mall Road, shoved a clerk who was counting money, and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. No injuries were reported.
Investigators later identified 25-year-old Jordin Miller as the suspect. Detectives obtained a warrant for his arrest, and on December 3, troopers took Miller into custody without incident at Christiana Mall.
Miller was transported to Troop 2, where he was charged with second-degree robbery, a felony. He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 2 and committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on a $2,000 secured bond.
