BEAR, DE — Delaware State Police are seeking information related to a robbery that happened at La Estrella Tienda Mexicana on Wednesday, May 27, 2025.
Officers responded to the store, located at 795 Pulaski Highway, at approximately 9:31 p.m. after receiving reports of a robbery. According to the investigation, two suspects entered the store shortly after closing and approached an employee who was handling a money bag at the register. Despite being informed the store was closed, the pair lingered, asking about various products.
While assisting the suspects with a store item, the employee noticed the money bag had disappeared. One suspect later returned the bag, but the employee found that cash was missing. When the staff intervened to prevent the suspects from leaving, the suspects reportedly pushed them aside and fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspects, described as an unknown black male and an unknown black female, escaped in a black vehicle. Neither employee involved in the incident was injured.

Authorities emphasize that all individuals involved are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
