NEWARK, DE — Authorities in New Castle County are requesting assistance from the public in identifying a woman implicated in an ongoing identity theft investigation.

The incident occurred on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, when an unidentified female allegedly used a stolen identity to access a bank account. According to police, the suspect forged the victim’s signature to withdraw funds from the account.

Investigators have described the suspect as a white female, believed to be between the ages of 50 and 60. She has shoulder-length dirty blonde hair and reportedly walks with a noticeable limp. Witnesses have also noted that the woman speaks with a raspy voice.

The New Castle County Division of Police has released images of the suspect and is encouraging anyone with information to come forward.
