Burglary Reported on South Walnut Street in West Chester

WEST CHESTER, PA — The West Chester Police Department is investigating a reported burglary that occurred sometime overnight between October 11 and October 12 in the 700 block of South Walnut Street.

Authorities said they received the report at approximately 8 p.m. on October 12. According to the resident, it appeared that one or more individuals entered the apartment while it was unoccupied, stayed inside overnight, and took more than $100.

Police have not released details on potential suspects or how entry was gained. The investigation remains ongoing, and anyone with information is encouraged to contact Corporal Hill at 610-696-2700.
