HATBORO, PA — A months-long investigation into an August shooting incident has led Hatboro police to secure an arrest warrant for a 34-year-old man accused of firing a bullet into an occupied residence on East Moreland Avenue. The inquiry, which began on August 19, 2025, has involved extensive interviews, evidence collection, and forensic analysis.

Police say the investigation began after a resident discovered that a bullet had pierced their home in the 200 block of East Moreland Avenue. Officers canvassed the area, spoke with multiple individuals, and gathered physical evidence that was later submitted for forensic examination. Authorities report that results from that analysis played a critical role in identifying a suspect.
