DOYLESTOWN, PA — A Bristol Township man was sentenced Wednesday to two to four years in state prison after investigators uncovered more than 12,000 images and videos of child pornography on his electronic devices, the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office announced.
Jacob N. Mamolou, who pleaded guilty in June to one count of child pornography, appeared before Common Pleas Judge Wallace H. Bateman Jr. on Oct. 1. In addition to the prison term, Bateman imposed five years of probation to follow and ordered Mamolou to register as a sex offender for 15 years under the Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act.
The investigation began on Dec. 4, 2024, when the Pennsylvania State Police Computer Crime Unit identified a user requesting blocks of suspected child pornography. Investigators traced the activity to Mamolou’s Verizon account at his Azalea Lane home. A search warrant executed Jan. 22, 2025, uncovered 45 electronic devices, including a custom PC tower with an encrypted hard drive containing nearly 12,000 illegal files.
Forensic analysis also tied the devices directly to Mamolou through utility bills, saved payment information, and linked email accounts. Police said his Google Pixel 6 phone contained an additional 86 child pornography files. Some of the material depicted children as young as 18 months.
Mamolou had lived alone at the residence for seven years and was the sole user of the password-protected Wi-Fi network, investigators said.
The case was prosecuted by Deputy District Attorney Monica W. Furber with assistance from the Pennsylvania State Police, the Bristol Township Police Department, and the Attorney General’s Office.
