PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Philadelphia Police Department’s Northeast Detective Division is investigating a series of alleged commercial burglaries reported across the city’s 2nd and 15th Districts. Authorities believe the incidents, targeting auto shops and industrial suppliers, share common characteristics and may be connected.

Nine separate burglaries have been identified, with offenses occurring primarily overnight. The incidents reportedly involved forced entry, damage to property, and the theft of tools, equipment, cell phones, and even lottery tickets. One suspect, Marcos Neto, has been identified and is wanted for commercial burglary and related charges.

Witness accounts and surveillance footage describe Neto as possibly frequenting the area of Castor and Levick Streets. He is said to travel on foot during the night and is identifiable by conspicuous tattoos on his neck and right hand. Footage also indicates efforts to conceal his hand to avoid full identification.

Descriptions of other alleged offenders vary. One individual was seen wearing a black and blue hoodie and tan pants, while another was noted with facial hair, a red cap, and a yellow-over-gray T-shirt. Video evidence also links some offenders to the use of firearms during the commission of these offenses.

The Northeast Detective Division is appealing to the public for assistance in this investigation. Information can be provided by contacting detectives at 215-686-3153 or anonymously through the tip line at 215-686-TIPS (8477).

The police remind the public that all suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
