BENSALEM, PA — A Bensalem man has been charged with possessing and distributing child sexual abuse material following a months-long investigation that began with a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), according to the Bensalem Township Police Department.

Police said that on July 18, 2025, NCMEC alerted investigators to suspected online activity originating from Bensalem involving the attempted upload and acquisition of child sexual abuse material. Detectives from the Bensalem Police Department’s Special Victims Unit launched an investigation that led them to a residence on the 2400 block of Finley Avenue.

Detectives identified the sole occupant of the residence as 62-year-old Daniel Berry of Bensalem. A search warrant was obtained, and investigators seized multiple electronic devices for forensic analysis.

Bristol Township Police located and arrested Berry on the active warrant before transferring him to Bensalem Police custody. He was arraigned before District Justice Lisa Gaier and remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility on 10 percent of $500,000 bail.
