Alleged Shoplifting at Exton Kohl’s Leads to Arrest of 40-Year-Old Woman

EXTON, PA — A 40-year-old woman has been charged in connection with an alleged retail theft at the Kohl’s department store on West Lincoln Highway, according to the West Whiteland Township Police Department.

Police report that officers responded to the store, located at 229 West Lincoln Highway, during an investigation that resulted in the arrest of Hyndavi Yalamanchili and one accomplice. Authorities allege that Yalamanchili removed merchandise without paying and was later found in possession of items believed to be stolen.

Yalamanchili has been charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property. Police did not disclose the type or value of the merchandise, noting only that the case is part of an ongoing effort to address theft-related activity at local retailers.

All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
