Two Victims in Critical Condition After Wilmington Shooting

WILMINGTON, DE — Two people, including a juvenile, were hospitalized in critical condition following a shooting Saturday evening, police said.

According to Wilmington Police, officers responded on April 4, 2026, at approximately 6:16 p.m. to the area of East 24th and Lamotte Streets for a reported shooting.

Police reported that a 16-year-old male and a 25-year-old male were both found suffering from gunshot wounds at the scene.

Authorities said both victims were transported to area hospitals in critical condition.

Police stated the investigation remains ongoing and no additional details have been released.
