Innocent Bystander Killed as Gunmen Sought in Deadly Shooting

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Police are searching for multiple suspects in connection with a shooting that left a 20-year-old woman dead and two others injured Tuesday evening, according to investigators.

Authorities reported that the shooting occurred on April 7, 2026, in the 5900 block of Market Street. Police said a 20-year-old female victim was pronounced dead, while two additional individuals were wounded and survived.

Investigators have identified two suspects as 26-year-old Mustafa King and 21-year-old Zarie Manning, who are wanted in connection with the homicide. Police reported that two additional individuals believed to be involved have not yet been identified.

According to investigators, the victim was allegedly an unintended target. Authorities said she had purchased lunch and was traveling to work when she encountered the shooting. Police reported that, based on her proximity and timing, she may have been mistaken for someone connected to the intended group.

Investigators are also seeking information about a second vehicle believed to be associated with the suspects.

Police are offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the case.
