EMBREEVILLE, PA — Pennsylvania State Police reported multiple incidents in the Embreeville patrol area, including a DUI-related arrest involving a firearm, a reported gun theft, and two separate crashes, according to investigators.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police, one incident occurred on March 24, 2026, at approximately 12:07 a.m. in the 1400 block of Black Horse Road in West Bradford Township.
Police stated a 24-year-old man from Coatesville was taken into custody after troopers conducted a traffic stop and determined he was allegedly driving under the influence. Investigators reported the individual was also found to be in possession of a firearm while prohibited. The vehicle involved, a 2014 Volkswagen Jetta, was towed from the scene. Police said the suspect was taken into custody without incident.
In a separate case, police reported a theft investigation stemming from March 13, 2026, at approximately 1:06 p.m. at Horseshoe Pike in Honey Brook Township.
According to investigators, an 86-year-old victim reported that a gun purse containing $75 was missing. Police said the investigation remains ongoing.
State police also documented a crash in East Marlborough Township on March 17, 2026, at approximately 7:02 a.m. involving a Chevrolet Express van and a Ford F-350. According to the crash report, a 61-year-old driver from Coatesville was operating the van westbound on Street Road when the vehicle crossed into the eastbound lane and struck the pickup truck. Police reported the van then left the roadway and struck a utility pole. The driver was transported for medical evaluation. The second driver, a 54-year-old man from West Chester, was not injured.
A second crash was reported in Honey Brook Township on March 20, 2026, at approximately 8:08 a.m. at Horseshoe Pike and Beaver Dam Road.
Police stated a 26-year-old driver from Morgantown was operating a Hyundai Elantra and attempted to turn left onto Beaver Dam Road when the vehicle was struck by a Jeep Grand Cherokee traveling westbound. According to investigators, both drivers were wearing seat belts and were not injured.
All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
