WYOMISSING, PA — Police are seeking to identify a person of interest in connection with a fraud investigation involving approximately $2,800 at a Wyomissing business.
According to the Wyomissing Police Department, the investigation stems from an incident reported March 30 at Best Buy, located at 1701 Crossing Drive.
Police reported that the unidentified individual is being sought as part of the ongoing fraud investigation. Authorities did not release additional details about how the alleged fraud occurred.
Anyone with information about the individual’s identity is asked to contact the Wyomissing Police Department at 610-375-6102, submit a tip through the department’s Crimewatch page, or provide an anonymous tip to Crime Alert Berks at 1-877-373-9913. Tips can also be submitted by text to 847411 by starting the message with ALERTBERKS followed by the information.
Police advised that tipsters should reference assignment number 39-26-2331.
All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
