WEST CHESTER, PA — Campers at Chesterbrook Academy Preschools across Pennsylvania came together this summer to raise over $26,000 for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF), a nonprofit organization dedicated to fighting childhood cancer through research, awareness, and family support.

The young students hosted lemonade stands and sold treats to their peers, families, and school staff as part of the annual fundraising initiative. The campaign took on added significance this year as Chesterbrook Academy marks its 40th anniversary, highlighting four decades of early childhood education and community engagement.

The fundraising event reflects the school’s broader mission of nurturing not only academic skills but also empathy and civic responsibility. Through its proprietary Links to Learning curriculum, Chesterbrook emphasizes social-emotional development, helping preschoolers build an understanding of their emotions and learn how to contribute positively to their communities.

The initiative demonstrates how even the youngest members of society can play a meaningful role in addressing serious challenges. With lemonade and compassion, Chesterbrook’s students made a tangible impact in the fight against childhood cancer.
