WEST CHESTER, PA — The American Helicopter Museum and Education Center is taking flight in the fight against hunger this November, partnering with the Chester County Food Bank to collect donations for local families in need.
Through November 30, visitors who bring at least two items from the Food Bank’s “most needed” list will receive a buy one, get one free general admission to the museum. The goal: collect 30 pounds of food before the end of the month.
Requested items include pantry staples such as white rice, peanut butter, jelly, canned tuna or chicken, and ready-to-eat meals like chili or canned pasta. The Food Bank also encourages donations of healthy snacks for children, canned soups, and fruit cups. Donors are reminded to avoid glass containers and expired items.
The American Helicopter Museum, located at 1220 American Boulevard in West Chester, serves as both an educational attraction and a community hub. By hosting the drive, museum leaders hope to inspire visitors to give back while exploring the rich history of rotary-wing aviation.
