PHILADELPHIA, PA — Yards Brewing Company is launching its most extensive holiday program to date, turning its Northern Liberties taproom into a major seasonal hub with new beer releases, limited-time food offerings, family-friendly celebrations, and a packed calendar of sports events and community gatherings running through the end of the year.
The brewery’s Home for the Holidays celebration will stretch from late November through December 31, with activities designed for families, sports fans, and visitors looking for a festive place to gather. The series includes the return of Long Jawns Winter Lager, the debut of two new beers, and a wide range of seasonal cocktails and dishes.
Long Jawns Winter Lager, a dark and malty 6% ABV seasonal favorite, is back on draft and available in bottles and cans throughout the region. Yards is also releasing Secret Stache, its annual Movembeer supporting men’s health programs, with $1 from each pint donated to Movember-funded initiatives. A new year-round beer, Philthy Hazy IPA, and a non-alcoholic version called Philthy Zero will also join the lineup.
Food additions for the season include Gobbler Croquettes, beer-braised beef stew, apple crisp, matzo ball soup, luxe latkes, duck chambord, kelewele, and arroz con dulce. Holiday cocktails such as the Pomegranate Lemon Drop, Spiced Rum and Blood Orange Frozen Slushie, and Cider Bourbon Sour will debut on Black Friday, along with new mocktail options.
Yards will also host one of its biggest annual events on Black Friday with an Eagles Watch Party featuring specials on Trash Talk IPA and Bird Juice, wing offerings, and a 10 percent merchandise discount. The brewery’s Gift and Receive promotion will run from Black Friday through the New Year, offering a bonus gift card worth 10 percent of each gift card purchase.
On December 13, the brewery will hold its Pajama Party with Santa, offering photos with Santa, gifts for children under 10, and drink specials for guests who arrive in pajamas. The event will also include a toy drive benefiting Cradles to Crayons.
The taproom will continue the celebration with a series of themed gatherings through December, including Premier League and NFL watch parties, a Philly Sports Day triple-header, and a 2025 Year in Review Trivia Night with major prizes. On December 31, guests can enjoy a New Year’s Eve Fireworks Pre-Game Party featuring glow sticks, hot chocolate for children, and easy access to the 6 p.m. waterfront fireworks.
Throughout the week between Christmas and New Year’s Eve, visitors can participate in Fill the Map, an interactive display where guests pin their hometowns to show how far they traveled to celebrate at Yards.
The brewery says the goal is to create a warm, welcoming environment for the community during the holiday season and to offer a central gathering place for Philadelphians and visitors looking to celebrate.
