PHILADELPHIA, PA — Xumo has announced the national rollout of a new line of smart TVs in partnership with Westinghouse, marking the latest expansion in its effort to streamline the viewing experience for U.S. consumers. The new Westinghouse Xumo TVs are now available on Amazon.com and Walmart.com, with additional retail availability expected later this year.
The product line includes 4K UHD models in 43-inch and 50-inch sizes, along with 2K HD options at 24, 32, 40, and 43 inches. Larger 4K models—55, 58, and 65 inches—are slated for release later in the year.
Designed to address the complexity of modern streaming, the TVs integrate Xumo’s proprietary operating system—an entertainment platform also used in tens of millions of devices through Comcast and its global partners. The OS powers key features like universal voice search, personalized recommendations, and a content-first home screen.
“Westinghouse and Xumo are a natural fit because we each prioritize quality and simplicity in the products we build,” said Stephanie Cassi, SVP of Sales and Marketing at Xumo. “The Westinghouse Xumo TV delivers on both of those pillars, providing consumers an elevated viewing experience with an intuitive interface that makes discovering content effortless.”
Russ Johnston, President of Westinghouse Electronics USA, echoed that sentiment, emphasizing ease-of-use as a core advantage: “We chose Xumo for our next line of Westinghouse TVs because its user-friendly OS cuts through the complexity of today’s streaming landscape.”
The Westinghouse Xumo TVs provide access to top-tier streaming services including Apple TV+, Disney+, HBO Max, Netflix, Prime Video, and Peacock, as well as free platforms like Pluto TV, Tubi, and Xumo Play. The TVs also include a “My List” feature, allowing users to compile and manage their watchlists across different apps.
Voice search, available through the bundled remote, lets users search titles, actors, or genres without toggling between individual apps—streamlining what has often been a fragmented user experience.
In terms of performance, the 4K UHD models support Dolby Vision® HDR10 for enhanced picture clarity and Dolby Atmos® pass-through for advanced audio capabilities when paired with compatible sound systems.
With this product launch, Xumo and Westinghouse are positioning themselves to better serve an audience that demands convenience, personalization, and high-quality performance—all at a competitive price point.
