WILMINGTON, DE — A Wilmington man has been arrested for an alleged drug offense following an observation by law enforcement officers earlier this week.

On June 10, 2025, at approximately 10:44 a.m., members of the Wilmington Police Department’s Drug, Organized Crime, and Vice Division were conducting patrols in the 700 block of North Washington Street. Officers observed a male suspect involved in what they described as drug-related activity.

The suspect, identified as 21-year-old Kaevon Tucker, was taken into custody without incident. Authorities allege Tucker was found to be in possession of 173.64 grams of marijuana.

Tucker has been charged with possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver. He was arraigned in the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas and committed to the Sussex Community Correctional Center, where he is awaiting further court proceedings.
