MIDDLETOWN TWP, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that paving work will require the full closure and detour of the Langhorne-Yardley Road and Woodbourne Road intersection in Middletown Township, Bucks County, next weekend.
The intersection will be closed around the clock on Saturday, November 8, and Sunday, November 9, as crews complete paving operations.
During the closure, motorists traveling on Langhorne-Yardley Road will be detoured via Bridgetown Pike, Route 413 (Langhorne Newtown Road), Route 332 (Newtown Bypass), Stony Hill Road, and Township Line Road. Drivers on Woodbourne Road will be redirected to Big Oak Road, Township Line Road, and Route 332 (Newtown Bypass).
PennDOT advises motorists to plan ahead, follow posted detour routes, and allow for additional travel time, as significant delays and congestion are expected throughout the work zone. All activities are weather dependent.
