BRYN MAWR, PA — The Visiting Angels Foundation has announced its 2025 grants totaling nearly $70,000, awarded to 16 nonprofit organizations across the United States. Each organization was nominated by a Visiting Angels franchise owner for its dedication to improving the lives of older adults and other vulnerable populations within their communities.

These grants will support a range of initiatives, including meal delivery programs, healthcare access, mental health services, and support for senior veterans. The funding reflects the foundation’s commitment to empowering nonprofits that help seniors age with dignity, safety, and independence.

“Each of these organizations is doing incredible work to uplift seniors in their communities,” said Joe Garecht, Executive Director of The Visiting Angels Foundation. “We are honored to support their missions and extend our shared goal of helping seniors age with dignity, safety, and independence.”

The 2025 grant recipients include a variety of impactful programs, such as Elder Services of Berkshire County, MA, which facilitates the Meals on Wheels program, and the Pennsylvania Foundation for Homecare and Hospice, which makes in-home care services more accessible. Other recipients, like the Silver Tree Project in Florida and the Twilight Wish Foundation in Pennsylvania, focus on addressing the emotional and practical needs of isolated seniors, ensuring they feel supported and valued.

These grants not only provide much-needed resources for nonprofit organizations but are instrumental in reaching underserved seniors, fostering community connection, and supporting healthy aging. By partnering with community-focused initiatives, the Visiting Angels Foundation continues to champion the well-being of older adults nationwide.
