Vertex Makes Tax Software Available on Oracle Marketplace

KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — Vertex Inc. (Nasdaq: VERX) said Tuesday its Vertex O Series Tax Engine and Indirect Tax Accelerator for Oracle enterprise resource planning systems are now available on the Oracle Marketplace and can be deployed on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

The company said the integration allows businesses using Oracle ERP systems to manage indirect tax calculations and compliance through a centralized platform.

Vertex said its O Series Tax Engine is designed to handle tax determination and calculation across multiple jurisdictions, while the Indirect Tax Accelerator is intended to streamline system integration and configuration.

The company said the tools aim to reduce manual processes and shorten implementation timelines for tax systems within Oracle environments.

“This accelerator offers near push-button set-up with the Vertex O Series tax engine,” Marc Duclos, senior global director of strategic partnerships at Vertex, said in a statement.

Oracle Marketplace is a platform where Oracle customers can access applications and services that integrate with Oracle products.

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is the company’s cloud computing platform that supports enterprise applications across public, private and hybrid cloud environments.

Vertex, based in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, provides software for indirect tax compliance, including sales and use tax and value-added tax, for global businesses.
