WILMINGTON, DEVasco Electronics has introduced the Vasco Translator Q1, a next-generation language device capable of translating real-time conversations in 113 languages — and now, for the first time, in your own voice.

Debuting at CES 2025, the Q1 represents a leap in translation technology with features such as AI-driven voice cloning, real-time phone call translation, and advanced photo translation with voiceover playback. The device aims to make global communication more natural, personal, and intuitive for travelers, business users, and multilingual professionals.

The Q1’s signature innovation, the My Voice feature, uses artificial intelligence to replicate a user’s tone, pitch, and cadence across multiple languages, allowing for authentic voice-to-voice exchanges. “Our goal with the Q1 was to make communication effortless, whether you’re traveling the world, conducting business, or learning a new language,” said Maciej Góralski, founder and CEO of Vasco Electronics.

Beyond its voice cloning technology, the Q1 includes a Call Translator that provides instant two-way translation for phone calls in more than 50 languages — no third-party apps required. Additional features include group translation for up to 100 participants, touchless operation for hands-free use, and text-to-speech capabilities in 82 languages.

The device’s photo translation tool leverages a 13-megapixel Sony IMX 258 camera with autofocus, instantly converting text from images into any of 113 languages. Users can also tap translations to hear them spoken aloud.

Vasco Electronics designed the Q1 as a self-contained global device, offering lifetime internet access in nearly 200 countries with no subscription fees. The translator features dual noise-canceling microphones, a high-resolution touchscreen, and a durable build engineered for heavy travel use.

“With the Q1, we’ve focused on creating a device that makes communication feel effortless and natural,” said Tomasz Stomski, Chief Product Officer. “Whether you’re connecting with someone across the world or simplifying daily interactions, the Q1 takes the complexity out of translation.”

Available in a Mystic Plum colorway and priced at $489, the Vasco Translator Q1 is positioning itself as one of the most advanced personal translation tools on the market — redefining how people bridge language barriers in real time.
