WILMINGTON, DE — Vasco Electronics announced the launch of Vasco Audience, a web-based platform that provides simultaneous translation and live transcription for meetings, conferences and other group settings.
The company said the platform is designed to allow multilingual participants and individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing to follow presentations without requiring software downloads or dedicated hardware.
Vasco Audience supports more than 50 languages and delivers both audio translation and text transcription in real time, according to the company.
The system uses speech analysis to segment content into structured portions to improve clarity during live presentations.
Participants can join sessions through a web browser using a shared session ID or QR code, with support for up to 100 users per session.
“Our goal has always been to bring people together,” CEO Maciej Góralski said, referring to the company’s focus on translation tools.
The company said the platform is intended for use in corporate meetings, training sessions, guided tours and large-scale events.
Vasco said the service operates on a pay-as-you-go pricing model, with usage based on purchased hours rather than subscriptions.
Additional features include the ability for participants to submit questions in their native language, which are translated for presenters, and the option to use custom glossaries for specialized terminology.
The platform also provides downloadable transcripts after sessions and includes encryption and compliance with European data protection regulations, the company said.
Vasco Electronics develops translation technology products and services for global users.
