CHESTER, PA — The United States Postal Service will host a job fair Friday at the Chester Post Office to recruit local residents for open positions.
The event is scheduled for February 20, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Chester Post Office, 400 Edgmont Ave.
USPS spokesman Paul Smith said the hiring event is intended to connect Chester-area job seekers with employment opportunities close to home.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old at the time of appointment, or 16 with a high school diploma.
Candidates must be a United States citizen, permanent resident, or citizen of American Samoa or another U.S. territory for at least five years, and must be able to pass a criminal background check. A safe driving record is required for positions that involve driving.
The Postal Service said it offers federal benefits and career advancement opportunities.
For Chester residents, the job fair provides an opportunity to apply for federal employment within the city, potentially reducing commute times and related travel costs.
