PHILADELPHIA, PA — Mechanics and automotive technicians looking for a new career opportunity may find their next step this week as the United States Postal Service opens its doors for a hiring event in Southwest Philadelphia.
The Postal Service will host a job fair Friday at its Vehicle Maintenance Facility, where applicants interested in positions as auto technicians and lead technicians can apply and interview in person.
Organizers say the event is designed to streamline the hiring process. Candidates will be able to complete applications, participate in interviews, and undergo fingerprinting during the same visit, helping qualified applicants move more quickly through the employment process.
