Upland Police Hiring Part-Time Officers Now

UPLAND, PA — The Upland Borough Police Department is accepting applications for MPOTEC-certified part-time police officers, the department announced.

Officials said applicants must be at least 18 years old at the time of application, be U.S. citizens, physically and mentally fit, and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Candidates must also hold current Act 120 certification, have a valid driver’s license and have no disqualifying criminal history, according to the department.

The hiring effort expands staffing options for the Delaware County borough as it seeks to fill part-time patrol positions.
