Unisys to Lead EU Cybersecurity Framework Under European Commission Contract

Unisys Corporation

BLUE BELL, PAUnisys (NYSE: UIS) announced that it has been chosen by the European Commission to lead the EUCybersafe Consortium, a coalition formed to strengthen cybersecurity operations across European Union institutions. The agreement falls under the EC’s Cybersecurity Professional Services Framework Contract (FREIA) and is designed to enhance digital resilience across 71 EU institutions and agencies, including the European Commission, the Council, and the European Parliament.

The four-year contract will provide services such as risk management, secure architecture design, incident response, and threat intelligence to safeguard critical public systems. The initiative follows a June 2025 European Commission report showing that nearly one in five cyberattacks target public administration, underscoring the urgent need for advanced security measures in the sector.
