BLUE BELL, PA — Unisys (NYSE: UIS) has received the Enterprise & AI Innovation Award from Silicon Valley-based innovation platform Plug and Play, marking the second time the technology company has been recognized for its work advancing artificial intelligence through collaboration.
Plug and Play cited Unisys for its agile yet structured approach to innovation and its sustained engagement with startups and industry partners. The platform operates a global network connecting more than 100,000 startups, corporate partners, and investors focused on accelerating technology-driven growth.
Unisys participates actively in the Plug and Play ecosystem by running regular deal flows and pilot programs with emerging companies throughout the year. The company said those efforts are designed to test new technologies quickly while identifying scalable AI solutions for enterprise clients.
Chris Bennett, vice president of the AI and machine learning practice at Unisys, said the recognition reflects the company’s focus on collaboration and experimentation as core drivers of growth. He said working closely with partners allows Unisys to translate emerging technologies into practical tools that deliver measurable impact for customers.
The award follows a similar recognition Unisys received from Plug and Play in 2023. The innovation platform also pointed to the company’s ability to continue evolving after more than 150 years in business, highlighting its efforts to remain competitive in a rapidly changing technology landscape.
