BLUE BELL, PA — Unisys (NYSE: UIS) was named a Leader in Information Services Group’s 2025 Public Sector Services and Solutions Provider Lens report for both Australia and the U.K., marking the first time the company has secured top rankings in the two regions simultaneously.
ISG recognized Unisys as a Leader in Digital Transformation and Innovation Services in Australia and as a Leader in Services to Local and Devolved Governments in the U.K. Devolved governments, which manage services and resources at the regional level, are increasingly central to digital modernization efforts and the adoption of citizen-focused technologies.
Unisys supports public agencies worldwide as they shift from legacy IT environments to hybrid cloud infrastructures and modern digital ecosystems. The company’s solutions emphasize scalability, security, and compliance — key requirements for agencies seeking to strengthen cybersecurity defenses and improve service delivery.
Manju Naglapur, senior vice president and general manager of Cloud, Applications & Infrastructure Solutions at Unisys, said the ISG recognition reflects the company’s commitment to helping governments modernize through secure and innovative platforms. She said the use of cloud, AI, and cybersecurity tools is improving operational efficiency and transforming how citizens engage with government services.
ISG’s evaluation cited several strengths across the two regions.
In Australia, analysts pointed to Unisys’ workplace transformation capabilities, including intelligent workplace services, next-generation service desks, and Microsoft 365 integration. The company’s expertise in cloud-native platforms and AI-driven automation also contributed to its position, along with progress in sovereign private cloud solutions designed to reinforce security and compliance.
“Unisys demonstrates consistent strengths in public sector managed services in Australia,” ISG principal analyst Harish B said, noting the company’s focus on resilience and modernization.
In the U.K., Unisys earned praise for its work in modernizing government IT environments, supporting multi-agency collaboration, and enhancing data-sharing capabilities across local and devolved administrations. The report highlighted advanced cybersecurity offerings and digital identity solutions tailored to public agencies. ISG also recognized the company’s strategic consulting services, which help regional governments align technology modernization with policy and governance frameworks.
Harish B said Unisys has shown “consistent delivery across the U.K. public sector,” identifying its strengths in secure digital services and managed IT capabilities as key to supporting agencies navigating complex transformation efforts.
