PHILADELPHIA, PA — One of Philadelphia’s most anticipated winter food events is returning bigger, longer, and more diverse than ever, as Northern Liberties Restaurant Week launches a two-week dining celebration featuring two dozen restaurants, expanded lunch options, and price points designed to pull diners from across the city.
Northern Liberties Restaurant Week runs from Monday, January 26, through Sunday, February 8, offering two-course lunch menus priced at $10, $15, and $20, along with three-course—or more—dinner menus for $25, $35, and $45. Organizers say this year marks the largest lineup in the event’s six-year history, along with its most diverse mix of cuisines and ownership.
The event is organized by the Northern Liberties Business Improvement District, which said the expanded schedule reflects the neighborhood’s rapid growth as one of Philadelphia’s fastest-developing restaurant corridors.
New participants this year include Amina, Apricot Stone at its new location, Mamajuana Cafe Philly, Mana Modern Chinese, Newsroom Philly, Scusi, Tikka Mahal Modern Indian Restaurant, and Yards Brewing. They join returning neighborhood favorites such as Standard Tap, Silk City Diner, Bar1010, Bourbon & Branch, Jerry’s Bar, North 3rd, Urban Village Brewing, and a broad lineup of Asian-owned restaurants including Baan Thai Thai Cuisine, Circles Thai, Hello Vietnam, Hikari Sushi, Seiko Japanese, and Yanaga Kappo Izakaya.
Organizers highlighted the range of experiences available, from a new soup dumpling destination and a hidden speakeasy to one of Philadelphia’s most recognizable breweries and what is widely regarded as the nation’s oldest gastropub. The lineup spans Vietnamese, Armenian, Italian, American, Chinese, Thai, Mexican, Indian, and Latin-Japanese fusion cuisines, among others.
Sydney Rexroad, executive director of the Northern Liberties Business Improvement District, said the expansion to two full weeks and the return of lunch service reflect both restaurant demand and neighborhood momentum, calling this year’s event one of the most globally diverse restaurant weeks in the city.
Some restaurants will participate in lunch service, others in dinner, and several in both. While dine-in service is the primary focus, select locations will also offer takeout and delivery options. Outdoor dining will include heated igloo seating, along with courtyards, rooftops, sidewalks, and patios.
Menus for the 2026 event are going live now and will continue to roll out ahead of opening day. Diners are encouraged to make reservations directly through participating restaurants via phone, website, OpenTable, or Resy.
A dedicated event website will provide menus, maps, pricing tiers, and reservation links for each location. Full details are available at explorenorthernliberties.org/event/restaurant-week-2026/.
