YARDLEY, PA — Drivers should prepare for a full daytime closure of Main Street next week as sewer improvement work gets underway in the heart of the borough.

On March 10 and March 11, Main Street will be closed between College Avenue and South Street from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day. No through traffic will be permitted in the work zone during those hours.
Passenger vehicles will be directed to use Route 332 (Afton Avenue), Route 32 (Delaware Avenue/River Road), and Black Rock Road. Trucks will be detoured via Mount Eyre Road, Route 32 (Delaware Avenue/River Road), and Black Rock Road.
Local access to homes and businesses will be maintained, but motorists should expect delays and congestion along the posted detour routes. Plan extra time and seek alternate routes if possible. All work is weather dependent.
