Oot joined the firm in 2015 after graduating from York College of Pennsylvania and has since become a key figure across several of Trout CPA’s core industry groups, including Hospitality, Funeral Homes & Crematories, and Transaction Advisory. His work in tax strategy, mergers and acquisitions and business consulting has played a central role in the firm’s expanding advisory practice.

Managing Partner Todd Harrington said Oot’s promotion reflects the qualities clients increasingly expect: technical accuracy paired with the ability to guide long-term strategic decisions. Harrington said Oot has built durable relationships grounded in trust and insight, helping position the firm as a partner to businesses navigating growth and operational transitions.
