LANCASTER, PA — Trout CPA has promoted Travis Oot, CPA, to Partner, effective December 1, 2025, marking a strategic investment in next-generation leadership as firms nationwide shift toward advisory-driven accounting services.
Oot joined the firm in 2015 after graduating from York College of Pennsylvania and has since become a key figure across several of Trout CPA’s core industry groups, including Hospitality, Funeral Homes & Crematories, and Transaction Advisory. His work in tax strategy, mergers and acquisitions and business consulting has played a central role in the firm’s expanding advisory practice.
Managing Partner Todd Harrington said Oot’s promotion reflects the qualities clients increasingly expect: technical accuracy paired with the ability to guide long-term strategic decisions. Harrington said Oot has built durable relationships grounded in trust and insight, helping position the firm as a partner to businesses navigating growth and operational transitions.
Oot has also been deeply involved in the Lancaster community, serving on the Leadership Lancaster Board of Directors and previously holding roles with The Common Wheel and the Lancaster Chamber Young Professionals Network Advisory Committee.
