PHILADELPHIA, PA — Trellix announced significant milestones in its expanded collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to simplify the adoption of advanced AI-powered cybersecurity solutions for customers. The partnership focuses on integrating cutting-edge security technologies with AI to address evolving threats while maintaining data integrity and compliance, particularly for industries in regulated sectors.

Trellix and AWS are leveraging Amazon Bedrock and other AWS AI services to enhance the Trellix Security Platform, creating new tools to address security challenges posed by AI adoption. These technologies aim to tackle pressing use cases across multiple industries.
Enhanced Security Capabilities for AWS Customers
The expanded collaboration introduces robust tools to strengthen security for AWS customers, including:
- Database Protection: Trellix Database Security now supports Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS), offering comprehensive real-time activity monitoring, compliance policies, and incident management tools for cloud databases such as MariaDB, MySQL, and PostgreSQL. Additional AWS databases will be supported in future updates.
- Identity Security: The integration of the AWS IAM Access Analyzer with the Trellix Security Platform enhances identity and access management capabilities, allowing customers to analyze permissions, visualize access patterns, and remediate compromises more effectively.
- Streamlined Deployment: Trellix’s certification for AWS Marketplace Architecture Excellence ensures seamless integration with AWS, helping customers easily procure and deploy security solutions. Purchases now count toward AWS Private Pricing Agreements (PPA), enabling businesses to meet committed spending thresholds more efficiently.
