CHADDS FORD, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that weekday lane closures will take place this month on Creek Road in Chadds Ford Township, Delaware County, as part of a local safety improvement project.
From Monday, November 10, through Friday, November 21, drivers can expect a single lane closure between U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike) and Upper Bank Drive from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM while crews perform scheduled tree clearing. Motorists should plan for delays and allow extra travel time. All work is weather dependent.
The tree removal is part of a broader initiative aimed at improving visibility and reducing roadway hazards along this winding corridor, which serves as a key commuter and scenic route in southern Delaware County.
