MIDDLETOWN TWP, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced the continuation of trail construction on Ellis Road in Middletown Township, Bucks County, as part of a local safety improvement project.
Starting Monday, June 2, through Monday, June 30, roadwork will require weekday lane closures on Ellis Road between Fulling Mill Road and Woodbourne Road. Tree clearing operations will take place between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM, with flagging to guide traffic through the area.
Drivers are encouraged to allow for additional travel time, as backups and delays are expected during the lane closures. PennDOT has also confirmed that all scheduled activities are weather-dependent, potentially affecting the exact timeline of the work.
The project aims to enhance safety and improve infrastructure, with PennDOT advising motorists to exercise caution and plan routes accordingly.
