DOYLESTOWN, PA — In a landmark move set to reshape the landscape of veteran support, the Travis Manion Foundation (TMF) announced it will acquire The Mission Continues (TMC) later this year. The strategic combination of these two leading veteran service organizations aims to create one of the largest networks in the country dedicated to empowering veterans and strengthening communities nationwide.
For nearly two decades, both TMF and TMC have built reputations for helping veterans transition successfully to civilian life through meaningful community service, leadership opportunities, and proactive support for mental health and well-being. By merging forces, the unified organization will extend its reach to almost 70 communities across the United States.
“This is a monumental moment, not just for our organizations, but for the entire veteran community,” said Ryan Manion, CEO of the Travis Manion Foundation. “Travis Manion Foundation and The Mission Continues were both founded to support a new generation of post-9/11 veterans and have successfully provided tens of thousands with opportunities to serve, mentor youth, and find renewed purpose. Through this acquisition, we can lead from the front and expand our impact even further through service and civic engagement.”
La Costa Moore, Interim CEO of The Mission Continues, emphasized the shared commitment to community and legacy. “This strategic move is about expanding the impact to veterans while honoring the legacies that brought us here,” Moore said. “As TMC joins Travis Manion Foundation, more veterans will receive support, ultimately strengthening more communities across the country.”
The move underscores a deepening investment in veteran leadership development and civic service, uniting two organizations that have long recognized the value of channeling veterans’ skills and experiences into community-focused missions. With a combined footprint and expanded resources, the new entity will provide veterans with greater access to volunteer opportunities, mentorship programs, and initiatives designed to bolster mental health resilience.
As TMF and TMC prepare for integration, veterans and community members alike can expect an expanded slate of programs that honor service, build stronger neighborhoods, and inspire the next generation to lead lives of purpose.
