MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced that construction will continue on a trail project along Ellis Road in Middletown Township, Bucks County, as part of a broader local safety initiative.

Beginning Friday, August 1, through Friday, August 29, lane closures with flagging will be in effect on weekdays between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM. The impacted area spans Ellis Road between Fulling Mill Road and Woodbourne Road.

The construction is part of a local safety improvement effort aimed at enhancing pedestrian and vehicular safety through new infrastructure. While work is underway, drivers should anticipate delays and allow additional travel time. PennDOT advises that all scheduled activities are subject to weather conditions.
