BRIDGEPORT, PA — For fifteen years, the Bridgeport Ribhouse (1049 Ford St., Bridgeport, PA) has proven that when great music, strong community roots, and a generous spirit come together, real impact follows. That winning formula returns on Sunday, February 15 starting at 2 PM with the 15th Annual Ribstock, a beloved charity concert celebrating a milestone year of giving back through live music.
What began as a grassroots effort has grown into one of the area’s most anticipated annual benefit events, bringing together local businesses, musicians, and patrons in support of meaningful causes. This year’s Ribstock continues that tradition, with proceeds benefitting Bridgeport Little League, Expressive Path—a Norristown-based nonprofit dedicated to enriching and inspiring adolescents through the arts—and the Upper Merion Community Cupboard, which provides food assistance to residents of the Upper Merion Area School District.
In addition to fundraising, the Bridgeport Ribhouse will once again host a musical instrument donation drive, collecting gently used instruments to support the Eisenhower Middle School Music Program in Norristown, PA helping ensure students have access to the tools they need to create.
The 15th Annual Ribstock will feature a full afternoon of live performances from some of the region’s standout talent, including Kevin Hill, Mojo Hotel, Dead Band, Brian Quinn Band, The Full, The Commission, and a late-night laser light show with Catullus.
Ribstock is made possible through the support of dedicated local sponsors, including Bello Brothers Construction, Kehoe Construction, Inc., axis, GreenTec, Boro Line Auto Service, Rotation Productions, Sherr Law Group, and dmk Publicity.
Originally created by the Bridgeport Ribhouse staff, Philadelphia musicians Brian Quinn and Paul Hammond, sound engineer Dave Anderson, and dmk Publicity Owner Denise Kovalevich, Ribstock was founded with a simple goal: give back to the community that supports the local music scene year-round. Fifteen years later, that mission remains at the core of the event.
A $15 entry donation is required, with all net proceeds benefitting the participating nonprofits.
