TAIT and Google Launch Feltboard to Redefine Digital Storytelling in Physical Spaces

TAIT

LITITZ, PA — TAIT has officially introduced Feltboard, a new enterprise-grade platform for managing and delivering digital content across physical environments. Co-developed with Google, Feltboard is now available to a broader range of organizations seeking to streamline and scale their experiential storytelling.

The project began in 2020 as a collaboration between TAIT and Google to address the complexities of managing digital screens and interactive content across Google’s diverse global spaces — including offices, stores, and experience centers. The result was Feltboard, first deployed at Google’s Pier 57 facility in New York in 2022 and since rolled out across the company’s global campus network.

Built as a hybrid cloud Experience Management System (XMS), Feltboard combines content management, responsive design, and environmental control into one platform. It enables users to operate installations that range from static displays to dynamic, multi-sensory activations. Designed with flexibility in mind, the platform is capable of handling installations at the scale of stadiums, cruise ships, and theme parks.

Feltboard stands apart by offering a robust, scalable architecture with enterprise-level security. According to TAIT, the platform is designed to meet the demands of modern digital infrastructure while giving content creators tools to orchestrate immersive narratives across a variety of settings.

TAIT’s decision to make Feltboard commercially available marks a significant step toward wider industry adoption. The company is positioning the platform as a transformative solution for enterprises looking to create interactive, controlled environments at scale.

With Feltboard now part of TAIT’s broader technology suite, the company aims to extend its reach beyond entertainment and corporate branding into new sectors seeking next-generation experiential tools. The move reflects growing demand for centralized, intelligent content systems that bridge the gap between digital media and real-world environments.
