QUAKERTOWN, PA — Synergis Software announced that its Synergis Adept engineering document management platform has been ranked No. 37 in the Best CAD & PLM Software Products category in G2’s 2026 Best Software Awards.

The recognition places Adept among the top one percent of more than 175,000 software vendors evaluated on the G2 platform, based on verified customer reviews and market presence data, according to the company.

Among products included in the category, Adept was the highest-ranked solution whose primary classification on G2 is Engineering Document Management, the company said.

Synergis Adept is an engineering document management system designed to centralize engineering documents, manage CAD files, and automate workflows while maintaining version control and audit traceability. The platform is used by organizations that manage complex engineering data across operations, maintenance, and construction environments.

According to Synergis, the system integrates directly with CAD software and provides tools for revision control, compliance workflows, and secure document access across engineering teams.

Scott Lamond, vice president of marketing at Synergis Software, said the recognition reflects feedback from users of the platform.

“This recognition belongs to our customers as much as it does to us,” Lamond said. “The trust our customers place in us—and the feedback they share—push us to keep improving.”

The company said the platform is used by more than 250,000 professionals worldwide in industries including manufacturing, utilities, life sciences, mining, and oil and gas.

Customer reviews cited in the announcement highlighted improvements in document organization and engineering workflow management.

“My company had countless engineering drawings spread across network file shares, homegrown systems, and SharePoint, with no common method of managing them,” said Chris Wood of Dow in a verified G2 review. “With Adept, we were able to standardize the management software, collect appropriate metadata, secure and control documents, and enhance searchability.”

Another reviewer, Ryan Mongeau of Space Age Electronics, said the company’s support and responsiveness were key factors in adopting the platform.

Synergis said Adept maintains a 95 percent four- and five-star rating across 192 verified reviews on G2.

In addition to the Best Software Awards ranking, the platform received multiple G2 Winter 2026 badges across categories including Engineering Document Management, Product Data Management, Construction Drawing Management, and Enterprise Content Management.
