CONSHOHOCKEN, PA — Suvoda, which recently merged with Greenphire, announced a new partnership with Bolt Business to provide cost-effective and accessible transportation for clinical trial participants throughout the European Union. The collaboration allows Suvoda’s travel specialists to book Bolt rides directly for patients, eliminating out-of-pocket costs and easing logistical challenges for both participants and trial sites.
The partnership integrates Bolt’s mobility network into Greenphire Travel, a product now offered through the Suvoda Platform. By combining ride-hailing accessibility with Suvoda’s expertise in patient support, the companies aim to reduce one of the most persistent barriers to clinical trial participation—reliable transportation.
“Patients in clinical trials already navigate complex health journeys without the added burden of unreliable transportation,” said Will Wing, Suvoda’s Director of Product, Travel. “Our partnership with Bolt Business reduces travel obstacles for patients, which helps them stay enrolled in their trial, delivering the consistent patient retention that sites and sponsors need for successful trials.”
The collaboration also reflects a growing focus on patient-centric trial operations, offering participants a flexible, low-cost alternative to traditional car services. According to both companies, the integration prioritizes privacy and data security while supporting inclusivity across diverse populations and geographies.
“This partnership is built on Suvoda’s and Bolt Business’s shared commitment to removing barriers for clinical trial participants,” said Liam James, Account Manager at Bolt Business. “It provides patients with flexible transport across EU markets, while giving Suvoda the cost control and account management support it needs. With Bolt’s mobility options available, we’re helping patients stay focused on their health journeys.”
Suvoda currently supports more than 8,400 sites across 2,000 studies in over 50 countries. Its high-touch travel model includes a global team of more than 90 Concierge Coordinators, designed to assist participants in complex, often rare-disease trials. The company reports a 90% satisfaction rate among global trial sites.
The partnership follows Suvoda’s merger with Greenphire in March 2025, marking another step in the company’s strategy to streamline clinical trial logistics and strengthen patient retention worldwide.
