Sterlington Adds Three Professionals to Philadelphia Private Wealth Team

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Sterlington announced the addition of associate Roberta Bombaci and estate and fiduciary accountants Sheryl Roth and Robert M. Maxwell to its Private Wealth practice in Philadelphia.

The firm said the hires are intended to expand its ability to advise high-net-worth individuals, families, and family offices on estate planning, tax strategy, and wealth transfer matters.

Bombaci previously worked at Troutman Pepper Locke and focuses on estate and gift tax planning, trusts and estates, and succession planning for family businesses.

Roth and Maxwell join the firm from Morgan Lewis and will serve as estate and fiduciary accountants.

Roth has more than 40 years of experience in fiduciary accounting, estate and trust taxation, and Internal Revenue Service matters.

Maxwell focuses on estate settlement, post-mortem planning, and fiduciary accounting.

He also serves as an adjunct professor at Villanova University School of Law and previously chaired the Probate and Trust Law Section of the Philadelphia Bar Association.

Daniel Cooper, partner and head of Sterlington’s Private Wealth practice, said the additions expand the team’s advisory capabilities.

“Having lawyers and fiduciary accountants working side by side allows us to deliver coordinated solutions for our clients’ estate, tax, and succession planning needs,” Cooper said.

Sterlington said its Private Wealth team operates from the firm’s Philadelphia office and also serves clients through its New York office.
