WINTERTHUR, DE — Families are invited to experience the magic of Enchanted Summer Day at Winterthur Museum, Garden & Library on Saturday, June 14, 2025. The event, running from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., promises a day full of imaginative activities, live entertainment, and hands-on fun for children and parents alike.

Visitors can enjoy lively musical performances by Silly Joe and Mary Roth, captivating storytelling by Terry Colonna, magic shows by Chris Fabiano, and the artistry of the Give & Take Jugglers. For those seeking interactive fun, classic 19th-century games like hoop rolling, ring toss, and Graces will be available. Children can craft their own magical woodland wands, create nature-inspired crowns with materials provided by Delaware Master Naturalists, and learn woodworking techniques from the Society of American Period Furniture Makers.

The enchanting three-acre children’s garden, known as Enchanted Woods, is a highlight of the event. This award-winning area features whimsical attractions such as the Faerie Cottage with its thatched roof, the Tulip Tree House, and a giant Bird’s Nest. Kids can host make-believe tea parties in the Acorn Tearoom, play in the mist-filled Fairy Ring, and explore water-play areas like Frog Hollow and Water’s Edge.
